The SFIC Annual Gala is our largest and most significant fundraising event, bringing together supporters to celebrate leaders who have made a meaningful and positive impact in their communities. Each year, we honor individuals whose dedication, service, and example uplift the mission of SFIC and inspire others.

The Gala features three distinguished awards:

• Torch of Learning Award – recognizing individuals who champion education and opportunity.

• Fidelity of the Faith Award – honoring those whose steadfast commitment to faith strengthens our community.

• Vitae Discimus Award (“We Teach by Our Lives”) – celebrating leaders whose lives serve as a model of compassion, integrity, and service.

Family Fun Day is celebrated each year at the Turtle Back Zoo in West Orange, NJ. The purpose of this event is to provide an engaging, enjoyable day for our scholarship recipients and their families. Throughout the day, families enjoy a variety of activities, including giveaways, a BBQ lunch, a walk-a-thon, and free admission to the zoo. This special gathering allows us to build community, create lasting memories, and celebrate the families we proudly serve.
