The seven (7) candidates chosen to attend SFIC’s 2016 Summer Advanced Space Academy Program in Huntsville have returned from this once in a lifetime experience. “This trip to Space Camp was absolutely amazing. Each year Sophomores and juniors attending a Catholic high school throughout the Newark Archdiocese compete by submitting an application, current report cards, and a recommendation from their science teachers. They must also show an avid interest in science, technology, engineering and math and submit an essay as part of the process. A committee reviews all of the applications and chooses six students based on all of the above.
