The Scholarship Fund for Inner-City Children (SFIC) Trustee & Investors Bank President & CEO, Kevin Cummings, has joined the Board of Trustees at Community Foundation of New Jersey (CFNJ). Established in 1979, the Community Foundation of New Jersey is an alliance of families, businesses and foundations that work together to create lasting differences in people’s lives and communities.
Mr. Cummings is a Trustee of The Scholarship Fund for Inner-City Children, a Trustee of the Liberty Science Center, a Trustee for the Visiting Nurse Assn. Health Group and the former Chairman of the Board and current member of the Executive Committee of the New Jersey Bankers Association.
Scholarship Fund for Inner-City Children Trustee, Brian McAuley was recently inducted into the Wireless History Foundation Hall of Fame on Tuesday, September 8, 2015. Mr. McAuley, co-founder of Nextel Communications, was recognized for more than 25 years of service in the wireless communication industry.
SFIC Chairman Emeritus, Joseph J. Oakes, III was recognized at the 2015 Invest in Others Community Leadership Awards gala on September 30, 2015 in New York City. Mr. Oakes received a Lifetime Achievement Award.
The Invest in Others Charitable Foundation established the Community leadership Awards to recognize the philanthropic achievements of financial advisors and financial service firms in communities across the country.
