Donor Sponsored Scholarships

Donor Sponsored Scholarships are established by individuals, families, foundations, and organizations who wish to honor a loved one, celebrate a legacy, or support a specific group of students. Each named scholarship carries a special story, a unique focus, along with defined criteria.

Each Donor Sponsored Scholarship is created with specific intentions in mind. Donors may choose the school, grade level, geographic area, or student characteristics they want to support, and SFIC administers the scholarship according to those guidelines.

Named in Honor or Memory

Many scholarships are established in honor or memory of a loved one, trustee, teacher, or benefactor. Their names live on through students whose lives are transformed by the gift of education.

Donor-Defined Criteria

Donors may support students at a particular school, from a specific parish or town, of a certain background, or pursuing a unique opportunity—such as four years of high school or a summer program.

Administered by SFIC

SFIC identifies eligible students, reviews applications, and partners with schools to ensure funds are awarded and used according to the donor’s wishes and the student’s needs.

If you are interested in creating a Donor Sponsored Scholarship in honor or memory of a loved one, or to support a specific school or group of students, we would be honored to partner with you.
