Terry and Polly O’Toole, generous supporters of The Scholarship Fund for Inner-City Children via The O’Toole Family scholarship, recently hosted a wonderful reception on Wednesday, June 24, 2015, for their current and past scholarship recipients.
The O’Toole’s provide four years of tuition assistance to twelve (12) high school students who reside in Newark or Irvington. They have committed $10 million to Villanova University to fund a Presidential Scholarship. Terry and Polly O’Toole have established this endowment at Villanova University to provide a high school student from the Archdiocese of Newark with a four year scholarship to attend Villanova University. The scholarship is available to a student in the Archdiocese of Newark who is a current recipient of an SFIC partial tuition scholarship. Read the article from the Spring 2013 edition of the Villanova Magazine on how this partnership between the O’Toole family, The Scholarship Fund for Inner-City Children and Villanova University will benefit our students.
Aside from being a generous financial supporter to SFIC, Polly O’Toole contributes to SFIC’s success as a member of the Board of Trustees.
